Upcoming Events for homecare Nurses and Carers

Join us on last Sunday of the month for a Royal London walking tour.

Health Professionals Homecare London would like to invite you on a guided tour to explore three of the most exquisite royal palaces in London. Along the way, you will see the beautiful royal park, the Changing of the Queen’s Life Guard, the hidden gaslit alleyways, and the elegant garden squares.

As nurses and carers you may not have the time to see this extraordinary city in this way and that’s why we want to invite you to this exclusive event to show you the very best that London has to offer.

The walk, led by an experienced historian, will start in the historic Covent Garden at 10am before moving on to Trafalgar Square.

Together, we will witness a royal ceremony that has taken place for over 350 years. The Changing of the Queen’s Life Guard is a striking display of British pomp and pageantry.

After the ceremony, we will walk along the world famous Mall, stopping to see both St. James’s and Buckingham Palace.

You may have walked through this beautiful part of London before, but never with the passion of a well-versed historian. Discover the secret world of royalty listening to the tales of love, betrayal, scandal, and murder.

Join us for this Royal Walking event𑁋 Not only will you enjoy the experience of seeing London’s best, you will also have the opportunity to meet other nurses and carers living and working in the London area. Attending the event is our very own Head of Homecare, Michele Jogee, and she invites you to a complimentary lunch after the tour.

The Royal London Walking tour is FREE to all nurses and carers in the U.K., all you have to do is sign up and let us know 48 hours in advance if you’re unable to come.

Winter 2019/20 Uniform Presentation Days

Neat and smart presentation of our carers is a high priority for Health Professionals Homecare. Administering care in clients' homes is a privilege and order and cleanliness are paramount As such, over the course of a number of months, we will arrange for every carer to be measured and filled for a new, bespoke-designed uniform. On these days, new carers have the opportunity to not only facilitate their new uniforms but also to meet the team, watch a special presentation, and take part in a photo-shoot These will be ongoing in 2019/20 to accommodate new nurses and carers joining the team.

Information Sharing Event

Date: Last Thursday of the month
Mindful of the importance of our nurses and carers having the opportunity to not only safely and professionally share work-related information and experiences, we have committed to formalise regularity of these events going forward.

Situated in close proximity to St John’s Wood Tube station, Health Professionals Homecare’s new office in St John’s Wood is ideal for clients and carers to stop by and visit – with no appointment being required. This ‘drop in’ philosophy offers great reassurance to clients and carers, and also enables clients’ relatives to meet our team and start to build a working and trusted relationship. Equally, our carers appreciate the flexibility to visit on an ad hoc basis, around their work rotas.

Weekend Open Morning - first Saturday of every month

Health Professionals will host an Open Morning on a designated Saturday. The primary intention will be to attract new clients to our service; with the secondary of inviting carers and nurses to attend. Equally, our Accounts Team in Bromsgrove will also attend to facilitate a drop-in advice and support 'clinic' for our nurses and carers.

Picnic Event

Date: Monday 1st July 2019
Join us on Monday 1st July for HP Homecare's Summer Picnic.
